1. Purpose and scope
This policy explains the principles that guide GrowMI’s review of businesses, opportunities, and submitted information. It applies to businesses onboarding to the platform and to investors or other participants reviewing opportunities.
Due diligence is a review process. It is not an endorsement, valuation, investment recommendation, or guarantee that a transaction will complete.
2. Business responsibilities
- Provide complete, accurate, and current information.
- Submit the required business, registration, ownership, financial, and supporting documents requested during onboarding.
- Ensure that submitted information can be verified by GrowMI or relevant third parties.
- Update GrowMI if material information changes after submission.
False, misleading, incomplete, or fraudulent information may result in rejection, suspension, or permanent removal from the platform.
3. Review activities
Depending on the opportunity and the information required, review may include document validation, identity and business registration checks, background checks, financial verification, site visits, and legal or accounting review.
Potential investors may conduct their own additional review before making any decision. GrowMI may request clarification or supporting evidence when information needs to be verified.
4. Important acknowledgements
- Completing onboarding or submitting documents does not guarantee that funding will be provided.
- Some verification or review processes may involve fees. Any applicable fee should be understood before the relevant process is started.
- Investors and businesses remain responsible for their own decisions, negotiations, professional advice, and transaction terms.
- Information shared through the platform should be treated responsibly and used only for legitimate investment or business purposes.
5. Review outcomes
GrowMI may approve, request more information about, defer, restrict, or reject a submission based on the information available and the platform’s review requirements. Approval to appear on the platform does not mean that GrowMI guarantees the accuracy of every statement or the commercial success of an opportunity.
6. Questions
For questions about the due-diligence process, please contact GrowMI. Businesses can also review and accept the applicable due-diligence agreement during authenticated onboarding.
